Hi everybody,
I must first build my own NAS
The goal of my FreeNAS is to share media plex, storing photos and store HD footage from my camera to my house.
I originally looked at using sequence hardware:
Supermicro A1SRI-2758F-O motherboard http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Atom/X10/A1SRi-2758F.cfm
processor Intel Atom C2758 (8 cores)
2 x 8 GB Transcend DDR3-1600 SC - 8GB DDR3, 8GB SO DIMM 204-pin, 1600 MHz / PC3-12800, CL11, 1.5 V, unbuffered, ECC
5 x 6 TB WD Red Pro NAS HDD - 6TB
Someone running a similar structure which have had good success / or vice versa?
Sincerely
Ole
