Hi,
in a few days I will receive an used 10GB Dell x520 NIC. From the stickers on the card I can see that the manufacturing date is 05/2014. Therefore I would like to do an firmware update on the NIC to be up to date.
On the Dell webpage you can finde the latest firmware Version 18.0.0 https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=gk57c
Is there any way to perform this update under FreeNAS?
Supported Operating Systems are Windows, Suse and Red Hat, so no FreeBSD. That means I need another system to perform the firmware update, am I right?
Thanks for your support.
Regards Chris
