Filename too long on SMB shares after 11.2 > 11.3 update

Hi,
after upgrading my FreeNAS installation from 11.2 to 11.3 the paths of many of my files on a SMB share are said to be too long.
Word and Excel complain (LibreOffice does not) and so does the windows explorer when trying to copy those files to my computer.

After reverting back to 11.2 the problem is solved.

I know there is a 255 character limit on windows paths, but this limit is not reached yet.
The paths in question are merely 160-180 characters long.

Does anyone know what causes this issues and how to solve it?
