I install it using an HP Microserver N54L
booting from a USB
my router is 192.168.1.1
FreeNas 9 - version of today

after add plex i can turn it on, i also cant add others plugins like torrent

error "You must configure your network interface and a default gateway"

i define ip for freenas as 192.168.1.252 and mask 255.255.255.0

I'm having the same issue raised here (I wrote about it in another thread in the plugins section).

I have configured my IP address and Gateway but I still get this error. Here is what my network summary says:
Name IPv4 Address

em0 192.168.1.194/24
epair0a 0.0.0.0/8
Nameserver
192.168.1.1
Default route
192.168.1.1

is em0 supposed to have a /24 on it? /24 encompasses everything in the subnet...

I can't control em0 settings. FreeNAS is getting it's network config via DHCP.

I added a lot of detailed information in my other thread, so if possible, would you mind taking a look?

I changed the Jail Config from IPv4 Network 192.168.99.0/24 to 192.168.1.0/24 and I was able to install a plugin without the network config error.

Hopefully this works for you, too. Good luck.

I had a similar issue when I upgrade from 8.3.2 to 9.1.1. I had to change my jail configuration to 192.168.0.0/24. This seems to have corrected my issue. I had to look at the results in the netstat -rn to get this correct value.

Just to add further to the same error, but for me a different resolution... I had updated from 9.1 to 9.2, when I experienced the same error message "You must configure a default route (Network->IPv4 Default Gateway)". Turned out that I somehow had a missing Interface that I needed to create. Was easy to miss when it's been working fine for a few years!
