After installing emby plugin, in the backend, most menus take ages to open, the "plugins" menu on the left doesn't show the "+" sign, see screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/Xq4i0FF6pHwa

and the log shows:
Code:
Sep 15 22:06:15 freenas manage.py: [freeadmin.navtree:573] Couldn't retrieve https://192.168.178.41/plugins/couchpotato/1/_s/treemenu: timed out

Sep 15 22:08:30 freenas manage.py: [plugins.utils:92] Couldn't retrieve https://192.168.178.41/plugins/couchpotato/1/_s/status: <urlopen error [Errno 8] _ssl.c:510: EOF occurred in violation of protocol>

All was good and working right until I installed the emby plugin.

Questions:

What is your hardware?

Does the problem persist after a reboot?

Does the problem persist after removing the emby plugin?

Sorry :-( missing info again.
I'm away from the NAS but it was freenas dated 22.09.2015 the latest stable as we speak.
Funny enough the problem seems gone after a reboot, aka. the menu on the left now shows properly, the errors in the logos seemed gone but I only had a quick look before I was off to work...

I posted this as I vaguely recall having seen a similar problem with a few different plugins, I think due to https access and remember another member fixing it, I think his name is Joshua or something...

22.09.2015! Amazing! That's in the future! How did you get a build from the future!

Wouldn't you like to know?

P.S. I missed a "0" => FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201509022158

@ovizii
the HTTPS issue from the linked thread had to do with me shipping Python 2.7.9 which stated verifying certificates for SSL connections, and people having their freenas webui accessed from HTTPS.
this has since been mitigated in updated versions of the plugin so it's not an issue.
