Good day community, it is generally necessary to add a driver for Adaptec 71605H order to make RAIDZ of 6x4Tb Hdd. If I imagine that I need to do the following: there is a file from the manufacturer for adp80xx_freebsd_drivers_b10624.tgz FreeBsd from there I take the actual driver itself pmspcv.ko and as I understand I need to add it to /boot/kernel/ afterward then add to autostart. But when you try to copy the driver

cp /mnt/usb1/freebsd9.1/x64/pmspcv.ko /boot/kernel/pmspcv.ko system swears

Read-only file system.

what I'm doing wrong, and that I regard?

Short answer: You can't.
Long answer: The driver needs to be compiled with FreeNAS. Additionally, Adaptecs are known to not work well at all with ZFS, so their use in general is strongly discouraged.

The preferred option is an LSI 2008/2308-based HBA.

I get it. And how then compile driver with FreeNAS?

That question is the kind of question that "if you have to ask you can't do it". It isn't something you can just "do" in an hour. Even I avoid compiling FreeNAS whenever possible.
