Does FreeNAS FC Well or not?

Hello,

I Have long had an admiration for the FreeNAS project, but did not really have a suitable application for it. I am unsure if FreeNAS supports what I want to do, as I have found conflicting info regarding FC support ( Some forum posts indicating it works, but official documentation saying nothing about it).

Current Setup of SAN is as follows :

2 FC Chassis of 48TB each. connecting to Quantum storage MDC.

Desired Setup:

We will scrub the data , since the FreeNAS does not support the StorNEXT filesystem. the ideal scenario will be for me to connect the existing FC LUNS's to FreeNAS, and have the existing clients connect to FreeNAS as FC target.

We are using a Brocade FC Switch, but I am aware it seems the FreeNAS server will need a Qlogic HBA which is totally fine. Does anyone know if connecting FC LUN's to FreeNAS and creating a filesystem based off them is indeed "supported" or works reliably with modification? Any help is appreciated.
