Hello,

Recently I got these 2 critical errors:

  • CRITICAL: Aug. 24, 2017, 8:49 p.m. - The volume stockage state is DEGRADED: One or more devices has been removed by the administrator. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.

  • CRITICAL: Aug. 24, 2017, 9:23 p.m. - Device: /dev/ada3, unable to open device
I went to the volume status and the pool is in DEGRADED status. It seems like one of my 3 disks could not be reached for some reasons. When it went back on, the pool fixed itself but let me with a ghost drive of the unreachable disk. The thing is, as I have only 3 physical drives, I cannot just replace it...

It seems that the drive have been added back under a different GPTID for some reasons. Any idea of getting rid of the ghost drive? Here is a dump of a Zpool status -v command:

First off some system specs would be good and is a requirement of the support forums.

As far as the disk one shows to be removed. Power down check your cabling and then power up and see if that helps. As of right now a disk is not connected is all you are showing. It may have went bad in which case it will have to be replaced but you have to take some steps through to figure out what is going on.

It does look like you have 4 disks. You need to get it online or replaced.
