Device Polling

I am unable to enable Device Polling for my intel or broadcom NICS.
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=polling&sektion=4&apropos=0&manpath=FreeBSD+9.0-RELEASE

Can you enable this in the next Kernel.
