My MoBo has to NICs and I am only using one of them. Both show up on my Dashboard and I was wondering if I can delete the second Interface (igb0) that always reports LINK STATE DOWN, No Traffic?

@elvisimprsntr In looking at my System / Tunables I see hint.isp.0.role, hint.isp.1.role,...,hint.isp.3.role. It's not clear on which 'Tunable' might remove igb0 from my dashboard, or what value I need to change.

Since I really don't want to disable my primary Ethernet port I'm hesitant to start changing things. Do I change the Value to 1, or just disable?

I did look at the documentation and it looks like I'll need to reboot the system for the change to take place.

@elvisimprsntr added the following and got the igb0 interface to disappear! Thanks for the pointers. I find it was important to have '...disabled', and not '...disable'!
Thanks again.

Strange - on my system, 2 of the 4 unused interfaces hide as expected. 2 do not.

Anyone else run into this? I may just remove the cards as I do not have a 10GigE switch.
