When I walk over to the console. I would normally see the interface listed that is used by the web console. In my case it was bge0 192.168.1.186 it's blank not. Do I reboot and see if I can get into the web console.

You have a bad disk and you have five disks so I'm guessing your pool is raidz1? If that's the case then I suggest you shut down immediately until you can get some additional help here on the forums to identify exactly which disk it is. ...Because, if you lose another disk then you will lose your data because the pool is Z1. Clearly it's the "gptid/f516e873...b8a8" disk.

And guess what!? We don't either since you are clearly using RAID with ZFS (which is a big no-no). mfisyspd(X) = RAID

ok I dont understand. I have the drives running through a IBM M1015 ServeRaid SAS/SATA PCI-e RAID Controller LSI SAS9220-8i 46M0861 which to my understanding is the preferred card for freenas. Please explain how this is a no no.

ZFS needs direct access to your drives, i.e. HBA in IT mode.
This thread will help I think;)

Just don't change mode on the RAID controller with data on the disks as this usually destroys the data.
