Deduplication off

Would I loose data by turning off dedup?

Note that after turning off deduplication, your data will remain deduplicated until you copy it off the dataset. If you have the available space on your array you may want to create a new dataset with dedup turned off, copy your data to it, then destroy the previous dataset and change your shares so that they point to the new dataset.
