cross wire configuration

Hello
It is possible to run a freenas box connected with a cross wire cable (directly on PC)?
If Yes can you help me with the configuration. After putting an freenas image on usb, start booting in the end on the screen, I see that I can connect to NAS via Webinterface on:

I presume that you solved your problem, using the solution you found in your followup message.

If one see's http://0.0.0.0 during setup, it's generally caused by one or two problems. Either the server can't find a DHCP server or the NIC isn't supported.

Also, don't use a "cross wire cable". Use a straight-through. GigE includes auto-MDI/MDIX. All you'll accomplish with a crossover cable is to confuse the hardware and maybe get yourself locked into 100Mbps mode or something else problematic.
