Hi everybody.
I am new on FreeNAS. I got a FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201412090314 server. I want to share through SFTP the user's home directories.
I got an OpenLDAP server running in other server (Debian) within my LAN where the users are registered.
I followed the configuration setup of the official docs for accessing the LDAP directory. I performed both commands getent passwd and getent groups in the shell and they returned me the users and groups as expected. Furthermore, trying to confirm all was going well, I executed an ldapsearch command and it returned me all the entries of my directory.
But when I connect my FTP client FileZilla to the NAS I get this error:
freenas sssd[be[192]]: Could not start TLS encryption. unsupported extended operation
It seems to be resolved and here is the bug report https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/7767
I updated the system but the problem persists.
Some ideas?
Thanks!

That bug report was just a doc clarification. Have you configured SSL/TLS to match the LDAP settings?
