AFIAK the answer it has been removed. Wish I 'd kept a copy just out of interest.

I sent you a link to my private nextcloud for upload. Everybody else who is interested can DM me an I will share a download link and sha256 checkum.

Thanks!

Edit: I have 10.0.2, now. Anything later, preferrably 10.0.5 still appreciated.

10.0.2 installs and runs - anyone with a FreeNAS-Corral-10.0.5.debug.txz to share?

OK, so here's the state of affairs:
  • I have install images for 10.0.2 and 10.0.5.
  • I could verify the 10.0.5 image by downloading the checksum file via archive.org.
  • Only the 10.0.2 successfully does a fresh install.
  • 10.0.5 won't do a fresh install (hitting <Enter> on "Install" does nothing).
  • An upgrade installation of 10.0.5 with new boot environment seems to work but afterwards I cannot logon in the UI, anymore.
So - some rough edges, 10.0.2 gives a good impression of what the UI was capable of. Runs fine in a VM on FreeNAS 11.3 with virtio devices.

If you want a copy to toy with:

I take no responsibility for anything if you run this software. Both versions were provided by some friendly fellow forumers. Thanks, guys.

Kind regards,
Patrick

P.S. I still remember running Corral quite fondly. Never noticed that the 10.0.5 install iso would not install. But then I started with the early betas and upgraded everything from there up to 10.0.5.

@Patrick M. Hausen Maybe I'm having one those all too frequent senior moments, but after installing 10.0.2 in a VM running in proxmox, the hostname refuses to update after changing it in the webui via the network settings. It remains as freenas.local.

In theory (!), it should still be possible to compile Corral from source:

The old wiki page with instructions is still there too:
