config Plex to the FreeNAS video Share

i have FreeNAS & i have a share where all my Video are.
I have installed the FreeNAS Plex Plugin!

but where in this Plugin do i tell Plex where the movies are?

I think you can make the destination any place you want. I put mine in /media as it seems like a logical place.

I'm afraid I am not an expert with the plugins. I created my Plex server from the cli, but a 503 error might suggest that the jail isn't started or you've got a DNS issue. Is the jail started? Also, what version of FreeNAS are you using?

Some other suggestions based on similar errors from the forum:

• Make sure you have the correct IPv4 gateway in your jail settings
• Make sure you have the correct IPv4 netmask in your jail settings
• Try disabling VIMAGE in jail settings and restarting the jail

i think the plugin is not working
the path ist should point is /var/db/plexdata/Plex Media Server
but is is not reading the files....

i have IPv4 DHCP: enabled and got also sometimes a IP address but then ist stops working...

First, what version of FreeNAS are you using?

In the jail settings, you should enter an IPv4 IP address, IPv4 netmask and an IPv4 default gateway, don't use DHCP. You can use the same IP address that DHCP provided as long as you know there is no conflict on your network.

when adding the IP, mask and Gateway it say the

NIC: Select a valid choice. epair0b is not one of the available choices

but on the NIC is nothing to select...

Make sure you jail is stopped. Verify and re-save the jail settings and start the jail.
