collectd config modifications

Running FreeNAS-8.3.0-RELEASE-x64 (r12701M) (Which I think is the latest release).

I am running a collectd server on another box. I would like to forward the states gathered by collectd to that box using the network plugin. Will the config file be overridden on reboot? When new volumes are added? Is there are way to make the changes permanent?

You would have to change /conf/base/etc/rc.d/ix-collectd

Changes will be lost in upgrade.
