Cloud Sync S3 data in transit

Hi -
Regarding data in transit using cloud sync tasks- does the FreeNAS/TrueNAS implementation of rclone for to S3 uses HTTPS? I don't need data to be encrypted at rest in S3 (there is no public access), but it needs to be encrypted in transit.

Note: sync task "Running" forever and never completes.... 11.3-U5 - but all the data is there.

Yes, it should be encrypted.

Sync tasks can take a while if the data is large at the other end... or the data is changing. Do you see network activity?
