Cloud sync path length issues

I am using cloud sync to back up to Onedrive. I am getting an error rclone failed with exit code 1. When I look at the logs I find many instances of Failed to copy: invalidRequest: pathIsTooLong: Path exceeds maximum length.
Microsoft's documentation shows a mas path length of 400 for Onedrive and the rclone documentation shows a limit of whatever it is backing up to. There are paths as short as 162 characters that are failing. I understand I will loose some of the 400 to overhead, but 238 seems rather high. Is this a bug or am I missing other limitation?

No I haven't. For some reason it doesn't seem to be consistent on the length it errors on either. I've modified folder and file names to clear up the files it was complaining about.
