I have a 8.3 freenas up and running (and backuped... ;) ). I have a very special volume that contains files for certain people only. I want to share some directories to very specific people, knowing that those people may not share a predetermined group... for example, i need 2 people from 2 seperate services to share 1 document with the direction. I don't want to create a new group for these 2 people, i'd rather want the directory to be accessible to valid users only.. i've read that i can put smb directives in the auxiliary parameters, so i did enter a "valid users = myuser"... but this doesn't work (directory not reachable - i don't have the error message in english, but it says that i can't reach the directory, and that maybe the permissions are not ok to access the directory), the user is not alllowed to access the directory (i have rebooted the nas). My system is Win 7/64
Is there a trick or something to do so my valid users are correctly handled ?
