Hi Guys,
My first freenas install, so go easy on me!
Simple setup (don't they all say that?!), standalone samba server, followed the instructions to create volume, dataset, user, group, and CIFS share.
I can mount it from an ubuntu client, with the username/passwd OK.
I also have samba on that ubuntu host & can mount shares from windows 8.1 & 10 as expected.
I can't get either windows machine to mount the CIFS fileshare, like the ubuntu client does, tried rebooting, several times
I've watched the log files (/usr/log/samba4) & they're not helpful.
Any suggestions? All welcome.
Thanks in advance
