it's a windows CLI command. And what I was refering to was 'net view' but 'net use' has some good functionality also. This will let you list shares on the server. If they don't list then something is messed up on your server.
Example:
C:> net view
Server Name
---------------------
\\FREENAS
C:> net view \\FREENAS
Shared resource at \\FREENAS
FreeNAS Server
Share name Type Used as Comment
------------------------------------------------------
home Disk D:
Movies Disk E:
