changed pool speed drops normal?

I changed my pool and currently I am copying the files to the main system.
with 8x 3tb in raid z2 I got on writes about 100 to 110 MB/s

with the new pool 6x 10tb raid z2 I am getting just ~80mb/s

is the reduction of 2 disks less really 20-30mb/ slower in writing?

or might it be something else, like tunetable. It is not a fresh install, I kept all settings, just changed the pool.

any idea?

I cannot tell you 100% but I am quite sure it was the autotune. Copied from backup system to main system with 80mb/s and after deleting every auto tune entry, I rebooted, auto tune generated the entries and I could copy from desktop PC to main system with 115mb/s.

Conclusion: When changing the pool, let auto tune run again :)
