Can't destroy jail in limbo

I have a jail called 'rclone' that isn't listed, but somehow exists:

# iocage destroy -f rclone
Destroying rclone
rclone is missing it's configuration, please destroy this jail and recreate it

So basically I should destroy it so I can destroy it. Any ideas?

This was caused by the empty directory iocage/jails/rclone. I removed that directory to solve it.
