FreeNAS 9.10
Have a number of working CIFS shares, each with folders and sub-folders.
Example: Music, Video, etc - All configured exactly the same.
In one CIFS folder, say Music, there are many sub-folders.
Can read and write to all but one of those sub-folders.
\\Music\Sub-folderX will not allow any writes at all.
Further, in \\Music\Sub-folderX you can see the sub-sub-folders but even though they should all have files in them they all look empty!

Any ideas?

Thanks all.

Confused by that...
The top level share is where permissions granted and all sub-folders inherit said permissions, no?
Take example of \\Music\Sub-folderX\sub-sub-folder
CIFS permissions are granted in FreeNAS to the top-level CIFS share: \\Music
ALL sub-folders of top-level CIFS share "\\Music" (Sub-folderA thru Sub-folderV) are fine while Sub-folderX acts differently.
Where would one change permissions so far under the top-level share point?
Thanks.
