Hey guys, noob here.

So my server was reconfigured using number 8 on the keyboard, I don't know why cause I wasn't home.
Anyway, I restored the .db file but now I get an unusual error.

Someone has any idea of what it might be and how I might fix it?
Tell me what information you need and where I might get that information and I'll post it here.

Best Regards

Your email missing 2 disks, why are they missing? They could be dead, they could be unplugged who knows. Can you gather smart data for all the disks? smartctl -a /dev/daX and use code tags when providing output. Do all the disks appear in the view disk in the GUI? What version of freenas? Also what is your hardware and how are the disks attached?

Solved it by physically removing the bad hard drives and reinstalling them.
Then detaching the drive and recreated volume from backup file.

Thanks you for your help!

you did not recreate volume from backup file. What you did was upload your config file so all your settings are back. It might help you to do a little education on freenas so things are not so confusing. For example do you have auto smart tests configured to run and email notifications?

I did upload the config file at first then I got the problem with the pool. Then I took out and reinstalled the hard drives but it didn't work. Then I detached the volume, then I import the volume again. Then it worked.

I know I'm a noob and I use it very rarely but when things like this happens and I don't understand the manual I will ofc look for help elsewhere.

Thank you again
