Hi guys

I currently have a FreeNAS server that sort of works. I want to reinstall everything. It's currently running from a USB stick.

The annoying thing is that i have to get my old monitor, keyboard and mouse to do it.

I have absolutely no experience with VirtualBox or other virtual OS systems. But, is it possible to run a VirtualBox on my Mac where i can setup my FreeNAS. Then move that configuration to a USB, stick it in and boot it?

Best, Morten

What is your hardware? (this is information you should post every time you ask a question as it is per forum rules)

If your hardware supports IPMI, that is the preferred method.
