Can I give disks to freenas from a different SAN storage already present?

Hi All,

I have just started to evaluate FreeNAS as file server. We do have a SAN storage currently on the network in use and don't want to add disks to the FreeNAS server.
Can I give FreeNAS a different iSCSI target other than its own or is it not possible.

Any help in this regard would be helpful as I am running out of ideas.

While it is theoretically possible, the FreeNAS UI is designed to be a server, not a client, and therefore there would be no good way to create a stable configuration to do that.
