I try to help out the community here and elsewhere on the internet, where I can, but I'm pretty sure I've seen at least 10 to 20 posts from people lamenting this whole "11.2 Stable" naming convention.
Regardless of what FreeBSD is up to, beta is beta is beta and should be named as such. Luckily /this beta/ is working mostly well.
Why can't you call it (11.2 Initial) or (11.2 Testing) and have the thing rename itself when it's done, or something
It is consistently annoying the end users and generally the less experienced ones, losing you mindshare by frustrating them.
I think it's time for a conversation about this to be honest. Surely there's a solution possible here?
