Can a Jail use 2 NICs?

I have my FreeNAS 9.3 system set up and running smoothly. I have set up a couple jails as well. One thing I was wondering if it is possible to do is let a Jail see both network interfaces? Right now my FreeNAS sits on my home network and that works fine. I have the second network interface and would like to have it available to a jail for a connection to my cable modem. Basically connected outside my network. My router may be the cause of some transfer speed issues and would like to see if that's it. I figure then Internet traffic would go over the outside NIC and the other would be for my local network connections to the jails.

I read this entry, https://bugs.freenas.org/issues/5027, and it says.. You can do this now, but not with vimage. You must use traditional jails.

Is a plugin jail a traditional jail? I took the defaults when setting up each jail too.

In the configuration for the specific jail, you can go in and turn off VIMAGE, then assign an alias IP on the second NIC.
