BSD profiles for AD users?

I have Freenas 8.3 running with AD integration. Is it possible for me to have a persistent BSD profile directory on a Freenas volume for an AD user?

Say I have an AD user named Bob. He logs into Freenas via SSH, and he gets a default home folder in /home/bob.
I want to have his home directory be in a persistent location in the NAS, such as /mnt/myvolume/mydataset/bob, and have ~, .bashrc, .profile, whatever in that location.

I don't think so. This is usually done through services like pam_mkhomedir.so and some configuration; you might get lucky if you try setting whatever attribute it is that AD uses for UNIX home directories but I would think it unlikely (or very lucky) if this was fully supported on the NAS.

Thanks, I will mess around with it a bit more before giving up. It's not critical, just trying to avoid creating additional users.
