I have got a problem on a new installation of FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE-201605240427: Everything works fine and I can configure the system in the WebUI but after a while the USB stick with the installation of FreeNAS gets disconnected and therefore the system crashes. The console says:

Code:
ugen0.2: <JetFlash> at usbus0 (disconnected)

After these messages the WebUI and the pc itself doesn't respond to any commands and I have to reset the pc to boot again.
The problem appears sometimes very fast after booting, sometimes after one hour. It appears when I am working in the WebUI but also if the system is just booted and is running without any interaction. I have tried any USB-ports (2.0 and 3.0) available and the problem occurs on all of them.

What can I do, to fix this?
If there are more information needed, will I be happy to provide them, if possible.

Switch to a small SSD instead.

Thanks for your fast answer!

I have thought about that, but the plan is to install 6 harddrives in the pc and the mainboard have exactly 6 SATA ports... So a small SSD just for the operating system would block one of the SATA ports, which I would like to prevent if possible.

Seems to be the USB stick. I have tested an old USB 2.0 stick, which is working fine the whole night until now. So I guess I have to buy a new stick...
Thanks for the hint!

When making a post here always make sure to include your hardware you are using. MB, CPU, memory, PSU, HDD controller
