1) your PSU has two 8pin CPU cables. They plug in to the CPU/PCIe 8pin plugs on the PSU.
2) Sata/peripheral(molex) cables plug in to the 6 pin peripheral plugs.
3) you should never hang more than two drives off a Sata power connector.
4) molex is good for 4 drives.
5) the PSU is so overkill that I suspect if you run it in variable fan mode, the fan will never spin.
6) seeing this PSU (which is supposed to be awesome l) side by side with a corsair rmx1000, the rmx is much better for this sort of purpose. More and thicker cables.
