I have struggled with this for a few days now...
Build FreeNAS-9.2.1.8-RELEASE-x64 (e625626)
Platform Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 V2 @ 3.30GHz
Memory 16335MB
Checking status of zfs pools:
NAME SIZE ALLOC FREE CAP DEDUP HEALTH ALTROOT
PteraNas2 7.25T 208M 7.25T 0% 1.00x ONLINE /mnt
pool: PteraNas2
state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices could not be opened. Sufficient replicas exist for
the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.
action: Attach the missing device and online it using 'zpool online'.

errors: No known data errors
I have tried to fix this ever since I had to replace the USB thumb drive for this unit.
I tried to follow the instructions at http://illumos.org/msg/ZFS-8000-2Q
I guess it is the cache drive I am unable to get back into the pool.
Help...
