Atom 330 (D945GCLF2) & SATALink 3114A

Hi all,

Just thought I'd share. So I am using FreeNAS-8.3.1-RELEASE-p2-x64 (r12686+b770da6_dirty) with the following HW & Config.

Mainboard Atom 330 (Intel D945GCLF2)
2GB ram
Boot off 8GB USB stick
3x2TB drives attached
- 2x MB SATA
- 1x on SATA PCI Silicon Image SATALink 3114A chipset (eBay cheap as, 4-port)

Using it as AFP server with all HDDs just as UFS. 1 HDD is rsyncing files off the other two as backup. Speed is good and setup is easy and I have no issues at all so far. Powerd is working well too.

I will also add another 2TB drive as external/off site backup. Haven't done so yet though.
