After my Ubuntu VM just shut down and couldn't restart I started to read up and try to figure out what is the "formula" for reliable install.
I am trying to install 18.04 on latest FreeNAS-11.3-U2 but have nothing but problems.
Latest attempt config:
2 CPU, 2Gib, VirtIO for disk and NIC
I allocate 70Gib for disk
Installed with all default settings.
stopped, removed CDROM, restarted.
No Network. Can't reach to internet with VM
Tried to change NIC to Intel - no luck. Tried to add second nic getting "a start job running waiting for network"
So I was wondering if there is "formula" for painless install?
