I don't have any good recommendations. My first guess is some kind of hardware failure, but narrowing down the exact hardware is going to be difficult. You might just have to do trial and error.

I do find it very odd that you are using the x64 version of FreeNAS but don't have high RAM utilization. Do you have any tunables or sysctls set in the WebGUI? Did you enable the autotune(hint: you shouldn't use autotune for your situation)?

I would start with a simple reseating of the RAM modules. I had similar issue with a 128GB system only utilizing about 24GB. Reseat of RAM solved my issue. Otherwise try the memtest.

Just an update- my problem was apparently memory. I replaced the 2x4GB sticks and up for 15 days without a hiccup. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction!

Hello.
Now I use FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201412142326
MB: GigaByte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H (RS780-SB700)
CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) 9750 Quad-Core Processor (2411.03-MHz K8-class CPU)
AddOn Card 1: JMicron JMB363 UDMA133 controller
AddOn Card 2: Promise Technology, Inc. SATA 300 TX2plus
8GB of RAM
Debug in attach.

I did RAM test 341 pass - no error. (I forgot about this server, so it tested and tested about 1008 hours ;))
20141028_170545.jpg

But system still reboots under load. :(

What should I do? Change JMicron controller?
