Hello,
Currently I have my system running on a 10Gb intel fiber card. I am trying to get iSCSI set up. I am attaching a cat 5 cable to a separate nic on the machine. which is on a different VLAN (VLAN 31). Once I set up and try to test the connection. It appears that my all my Jails lose connection and I can't ping them or ping from them. Even after the settings revert back, I still have the same issue. I have to reboot the NAS for the connections to work properly again.
What am I doing wrong? How can I set up this different vlan on a separate nic so it doesn't seem to affect my main NAS, so I can pass the iSCSI traffic on that specific vlan.
I am trying to set this up under the interface section of the NAS GUI
Jails are using vnet0. It appears its set to auto_default_interface (Set to the 10gb interface and no luck)
