I have a freenas box based off of an asus dsbv-d server board. I believe its using the LSI Megaraid chipset.
For the life of me, i cant import or create volumes on any drive connected to the first detected drive on the controller (eg ada0)
it doesn't seem to be phy port related because if i move the drive from sata0 to sata1 leaving sata0 empty, its still detected as ada0 and wont show up in import or vol manager.
If i add additional drives, the additional drives (ada1-5) are detected and available for import or raid creation under volume manager.
the ada0 drive is able to be manually mounted from shell, it just is invisible to volume manager and import.
Any ideas where i look from here?
