AD Authentication with FTP Fails

I am currently running a fresh installation of FreeNAS on a VM. I have configured Active Directory, FTP, and CIFS. Currently AD authentication works great with CIFS but not with FTP. When I attempt to use my AD creds it appears the FTP service is not authenticating against AD. Is there something I am missing? What extra step is required to get FTP to authenticate against AD?

Both CIFS and FTP are pointing to the same datastore. CIFS works like a charm.

Basically, the FTP service doesn't support active domain. Not sure if there's a way to hack it in to get it to work.

Sounds like a ticket should be created at support.freenas.org, assuming one does not already exist.
