AD authentication and importing users from AD into FreeNAS-9.10.2-U4

OK having trouble configuring Active Directory authentication with FreeNAS.

I have a domain name, service account and password set.
I can browse files on a SMB share I created

I want to see users and groups from active directory so I can control permissions. I can only see built in users and groups right now.

Suggestions?

Have you joined the domain? If you type the following command in the CLI, do you see your AD users wbinfo -u?

I can see in the CLI

Okay. Then most likely everything is in order on the backend side. Where do you only see the builtin users and groups? The FreeNAS UI? What happens if you try to follow the procedure in the following video to set your permissions? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhwOyLtArw0
