"Access is denied" after upgrade to 9.1.1

Running FreeNAS-9.1.1-RELEASE-x64 (a752d35, on Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz, with 2987MB ie, 4000MB, memory on an Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard, using 6 2TB WD Red drives in RAID 2z, accessed by two Windows 7 systems for backup using SyncToy. Worked fine under 9.1.0. Under 9.1.1 many directories have become inaccessible generating many "Unknown error. Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007005)" messages. Over an interval of several weeks I have tried many fixes suggested in the forums (chown -R, adjusting permissions, creating new data sets, etc.) with no success. Any input/suggestions would be more than welcome.
