I have two identical Proliant Microservers with 8GB RAM and 4 x 3TB drives that boot from 16GB USB thumb drives that were running FreeNAS 9.2.1.x. Both servers would no longer boot after power failures.

I successfully installed FreeNAS 9.3 onto the first server, it automatically imported the VOL1 volume during the Initial Wizard and all of my files were accessible once I created the CIFS shares again.

Second server I did the same process, imported the Vol1 volume and I can see the original folders on the volume but there are no files??

[root@freenas] /mnt/Vol1# ls -la
total 52
drwxrwxrwx 5 root wheel 5 Sep 10 19:58 ./
drwxr-xr-x 3 root wheel 80 Jan 11 12:54 ../
drwxrwxrwx 2 root wheel 3 Sep 25 17:18 Backups/
drwxrwxrwx 2 root wheel 2 Sep 10 19:36 Files/
drwxrwxrwx 2 root wheel 3 Sep 25 17:18 Qdownload/

[root@freenas] /mnt/Vol1# du -hs *
18k Backups
12k Files
18k Qdownload

[root@freenas] /mnt/Vol1/Qdownload# ls -la
total 31
drwxrwxrwx 2 root wheel 3 Sep 25 17:18 ./
drwxrwxrwx 5 root wheel 5 Sep 10 19:58 ../
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root wheel 6148 Sep 25 17:18 .DS_Store*

I have attached a screenshot from the GUI manager.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you post the debug file for your server? If they are truly identical in all ways related to hardware if you could post the debug for your "other" box that might be helpful too.
