Yep! Although my "backup" is a pair of Seagate Expansion drives. What can I say, they were cheap :)

Did you ignore this or did you still have the same problem on 8.3?

What version are you on, 8.2 or earlier?

I few people with similar problems, on the earlier versions, fixed it by upgrading to 8.3.

I didn't ignore it, but I didn't want to conduct a version upgrade and a re-silver at the same time.

In the end I re-installed FreeNAS onto the USB stick, destroyed the volume and started over.
