I am new to here, but hoping I can find some help regarding my Nextcloud install on my FreeNAS - I installed it via the plugin manager (I believe it's utilizing the www user, instead of www-data like in nextcloud documentation).
I have upgraded my installation from Nextcloud 14 to 15 using the updater. So this time when Nextcloud offered me an update to 16, I went for it. However, during the installation the updater page gave me an error indicating timeout (I did not copy the text nor screenshot it, but I believe it was related to my utilization of Cloudflare certs (I am doing strict SSL to my server and using cloudflare free certifications for my domain)).
So in my updater.log file I see the following:
And every time I open the webpage for updater (mydomain.com/updater/), I am presented with the following text
However whenever I copy the secret from config file or try to generate it using the given command, I am presented with Invalid password text as seen above.
Also these lines are added to my updater.log:
I believe somewhere along the upgrade process everything was not completed:
this is due to in my /data folder seeing folders like updater-oc6ba6r01jpu and appdata_oc6ba6r01jpu. The updater-oc6ba6r01jpu folder contains a backup of my web server files as well as downloaded new files.
The files I normally see in my nextcloud install folder (usr/local/www/nextcloud/) are not there (must be in backup and downloads folder in the updater-oc6ba6r01jpu folder?
I would appreciate information on how to continue with the upgrade where it stopped and "fix" my nextcloud install.
Just to note, whenever I try to run occ in my nextcloud install folder I get message "Could not open input file: ./occ" and when I navigate to backup folder to run the command " sudo -u www php ./occ upgrade" I get message indicating that nextcloud is already on the latest version.
Thank you in advance,
mk
