How can I get rid of the 3 READ errors on my raidz2-1 vdev? I tried zpool clear and scrubbed the pool.

I'm pretty sure this is a cable issue since Smartctl seems happy.

Code:
root@freenas:~ # zpool status Data1
  pool: Data1
state: DEGRADED
status: One or more devices are faulted in response to persistent errors.
Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a
        degraded state.
action: Replace the faulted device, or use 'zpool clear' to mark the device
        repaired.

Rebooted the box and READ errors were gone but had a few checksum errors and my Data1 pool was healthy.

Did a zpool clear Data1 and now everything is clear.

Well, of course they were, they do not persist across reboots.

Did a zpool clear Data1 and now everything is clear.
Well, of course it is, you told ZFS to clear the error counts.

Your disk was behaving so atrociously that ZFS dropped it after just three read errors. It looks like zpool clear does not act on disks that are not currently in use, which makes some sense.
