Just curious about this and hopefully someone can help.
I have a downloads dataset where all my torrents download to. I then move that data to other datasets depending on the type of media and if I want it shared on my Plex and stuff. What I'm curious about is why in the FreeNas GUI the used space of the dataset does not decrease when I move the files to another dataset. Is this because of snapshots? I think it might have to do with the snapshots but I just want to make sure I don't have an issue on my hands.
