I attempted to update to the new 9.3-STABLE- version this morning and I got a -
CRITICAL: The boot volume state is ONLINE: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data corruption. Applications may be affected.
I checked the log and i said it was unable to install packages. I looked up on the forums and found to check the space on 16Gb USB stick with df -h / resulting in -
[root@freenas] ~# df -h /
Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
freenas-boot/ROOT/FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201502232343 8.4G 965M 7.5G 11% /
So thats not the problem. Then I read on Bug#8207 to run from the CL
freenas-update -C /tmp/update check && freenas-update -C /tmp/update update
and if that succeeded you can reboot and if not to paste the output. And thats were the bug ticket response left off. Well mine didn't work and I didn't know were to go from here. If I need to replace the USB stick, how would I save my current config?
I have attached the output from the attempted update. Thank you for any help in this matter.
