So my iSCSI Steam volume on my TrueNAS server has been working fine, and then i rebooted and i now can't reconnect to it.
I've recreated via the iSCSI wizard and tried to reconnect to the steam zvol, and i just cannot get anything to appear from inside my Windows 11 machine.
What's odd (and likely the reason for this!) is that the iSCSI service just won't seem to enable on the server, it errors out each time with a generic "iSCSI service failed to start."
There is nothing unusual about the setup, and i'm baffled why it's not working
Logs don't seem to say much regarding iSCSI either. I also created a new zvol in case the existing one was the issue, and it also did not work (due to the service not starting i assume)
I was not able to replicate via my virtualised TrueNAS Scale under Proxmox, the iSCSI initiator picked it up right away inside Windows
Can someone advise the best places for me to look for some iSCSI information inside log files?
many thanks
