I have a fresh install of TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.2 and i get this alert message:
CRITICAL
Failed to sync OFFICIAL catalog: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git' repository at '/mnt/SG_EXOS_64TB/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master' destination: Cmd('git') failed due to: exit code(128) cmdline: git clone -v https://github.com/truenas/charts.git /mnt/SG_EXOS_64TB/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master stderr: 'Cloning into '/mnt/SG_EXOS_64TB/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master'... fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git/': server certificate verification failed. CAfile: none CRLfile: none '

- My truenas gets its IP from DHCP
- Nameserver and default gateway is set to the firewall IP(pfsense).
- I am able to ping google.com, truenas.com and github.com from the truenas shell with no issues.
- I am unable to retreive available applications from the applications manager.

All i have done after installation is to create a storage pool. Everything else is fresh.

For some reason truenas is unable to sync the catalog, but i have no issues pinging any dns records so it should be able to reach the internet.

I am new to truenas so please let me know if i may have done any rookie mistakes or if i have any necessary installation steps left to do. Please guide me to a similar thread if this problem has been solved before.

I have the same issue. I just did a fresh install of TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.3.3 after doing a hardware swap. I uploaded my configuration file, and now I get the below error. Apps start and run fine, but the 'Available Applications' tab fails to load.

CRITICAL
Failed to sync TRUENAS catalog: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git' repository at '/mnt/phoenix-apps/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master' destination: Cmd('git') failed due to: exit code(128) cmdline: git clone -v https://github.com/truenas/charts.git /mnt/phoenix-apps/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master stderr: 'Cloning into '/mnt/phoenix-apps/ix-applications/catalogs/github_com_truenas_charts_git_master'...
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/truenas/charts.git/': server certificate verification failed. CAfile: none CRLfile: none '

Fortunately, TrueNAS is an incredible tool, but what's good about it! It also has some bad!
My TrueNAS has been down for ~1.5 months! As soon as I turn it on! This annoying error appears!
